Colourway variation

Most yarns are dyed in small batches of 3-4 skeins.  There will inevitably be a small amount of variation between batches (even yarns dyed in the same pot together will have some variation between them).  No two skeins are alike.  This colour variation is the best part about knitting with hand dyed yarns!

I highly recommend alternating skeins while knitting your projects to avoid any "colour pooling".  It's also a great idea to order the entire quantity that you require for your project - this will guarantee that most of your skeins will be from the same dyepot/batch.

OOAK ("One of a Kind")

These colourways are the result of happy accidents, leftover dye or experiments while I'm creating new colourways!  They are non repeatable, which means your project will truly be unique.

Photographs

All yarns are photographed in natural light.  The weather here on the west coast can be dark and gloomy, so I sometimes use an LED light to make things brighter.  But I always prefer good old sunlight whenever possible!  I try my best to portray the colours naturally, but please note that they may appear different on your screen/monitor.
